Dragon of Shandon Parade 2023
Every year we have spectacular groups taking part in the Dragon of Shandon Parade and 2023 was no different. We had facilitated workshops with the amazing Blackpool CAP (Community Access Programme), National Learning Network and Suisha Inclusive Arts. CCAL has a long standing relationship with these three groups who have participated in countless events including our three parades this year.
We also had the fantastic Joan Denise Moriarty School of Dance, The Tribe Dance Academy, The Kabin Studio, Mexican Community in Cork, Cobh Animation Team, Cork Circus Factory, CCAL Comic Kids, CCAL Drama Troupe with Lord Mayor Kieran McCarthy, Sli Danu, Mars and Diane, Vicki's trio, Pat Q's Crew, and joining us this year the beautiful Kalyna Ukrainian Choir. We also had representatives from international collaborators La Bergerie from Eynesse, France and Curious Legends from Newcastle, Australia. Along with our volunteer float pushers, puppeteers, performers and stewards, we had a wonderful night with so many fantastic people!
